Problems with Fedex from Italy ??

I exclusively collect Moretti's and have approximately 50, all shipped by FedEx. Not one problem, but you usually have to sign for the package upon receipt. If you are not going to be home on the delivery date, you can have the package held at a holding facility and pick it up on your own time.

    Flick the Spit

    Spit, condensation... it’s all semantics!

    Mold in the tin!

Hope you are able to recoup the cost of those Fungal Slices.

    Mold in the tin!

Makes a person wonder how many tins of aged mold are lurking in our cellars...

    Flick the Spit

Learned from a while back to cover the bowl and flick the spit out the end of the stem. No longer have to use pipe cleaners while smoking. Anyone else regularly do this?

1792 Flake is amazing. Pull the trigger! Even at 22 a tin, we’re talking about a buck fifty for each hour of smoking bliss. Pretty reasonable!

    FVF & 3P at 4N

Well shoot. Was hoping those 100g containers were just being used during the “end of production” scare...

What Do You Like Or Dislike About An Oom Paul?

I think they are beautiful, and own a few. They do draw a little moisture, so I smoke toby on the dry side with them. To me, they look so classic and feel great in the hand.

What Is Your Favorite Cigar Brand?

I am a big fan of Perdomo. I really enjoy their Factory Tour Sungrown and their 12 year double-aged Connecticut. Padron, My Father, and Opus X are in a league of their own, but far too expensive for regular enjoyment.

How to Properly Break in a New Pipe

“Hey grandpa, how do you properly break in a new pipe?” Well... I suppose you smoke it! “Should I put honey in the bowl first?” That depends... do you want to smoke tobacco or honey? “But how will I know I’m breaking it in right?” Smoke will come out. “But what if I ruin it?” I don’t...

Hairline crack inside of bowl: is the pipe ruined?

Throw it in the burn barrel or smoke it while you mow. That pipe is trash now!

Just stirring the pot and trying get a laugh! I did not buy any SJF, but I was happy to finally grab a few tins of 1792. Been looking for 1792 for many months to no avail!

Was lucky enough to score 40 tins of St. James Flake before all the hoarders bought the rest up.

Picked up a couple tins of 1792 at TobaccoPipes.com. Love me some Tonka bean. Still some in stock!
