Vulcanite vs Acrylic Stems.....Which do you Prefer?
I prefer Acrylic. I find no issue with comfort as I don't bite down on my pipes anyway. I do however have pipes with stems made of both materials. -

Bowl Maintenance
As others have said, ream first. But only if it needs it. And then salt & alcohol. I have never had to ream one of my pipes. The only time that I need to ream is if I purchase an unrestored pipe. When I do need to touch up the cake, I use a small Swiss army keychain knife just like this one...- python

I was actually just thinking that it doesn't make any sense regulatory wise because they are still selling the flavored component with the kit. So in essence they are still selling an aromatic tobacco. I don't get it, but it wouldn't be the first time I didn't get something :LOL:.- python

I don't think that Pennsylvania has any laws about aromatics. But I could be mistaken. P&C is selling other bulk aromatic tobacco blends, but for some reason the only ones that I see as "Blend it Yourself" are the Scotty's Bulk Blends. All of Russ' blends are still for sale already blended.- python

Anyone Had Any Experience With Nording?
How many times have you smoked it? Is it completely broken in? A pipe with no chamber coating (which I prefer) will sometime give a little bit of a woody flavor every now and then until it's fully broken in. Or you could be smoking too hot. -
