Ok. So Escudo or Peterson De Luxe Navy Rolls

Your first tin of Escudo is 12 years old? Wow, thats a feat in and of itself haha. I would try a fresh tin and compare all 3!

    Past Podcast/Radio Episodes Discussion

Now i've gotta go give that Marty Pulvers episode a relisten!! I love all of the Mike and Mary Mcneil interviews, and the Fred Hanna episodes are always a blast to listen to. Rich Esserman is another fantastic repeat guest, and of course, Jon D. Cole

    Fred Hanna smoking aged Capstan

I am trying to find a certain episode where Fred Hanna (I think it was him, but i could be mistaken) talks about smoking some incredibly aged Capstan. I believe he likens it to well aged wine. I remember it being a funny and informative episode, and I would like to give it a relisten! Thanks!

Sun Bear Blends & Dates of Production:

I've only tried Mountain Flower, but like it quite a lot. I feel like the tequila comes through nicely. I am excited to crack a tin of Tupelo I've been saving and I'm eager to see this years release.

That's looks like a great time! Very eager to make it out to the Squire sometime, but living in Utah makes it a tough trip to plan haha.

    Question About Open Tins

As others have mentioned, it likely lost its seal in transit or wasn't sealed properly at the factory. EMP isn't necessarily strong, but if you don't have any prior experience with nicotine, and you are comparing it with Cult BRM and Captain Black, it can certainly have an affect. Very cool of...

Excited to try the Penny Farthing & Fire Storm! Curious about the hay bale slices and Virginia Cream, and...

    Samuel Gawith 1792 Flake

Maybe a dumb question, but have U.S. retailers been getting the boxes of Cob Plug in recent shipments? I really got into 1792 flake this past year and would really like to try out the plug. Follow up question, does Cob Plug ever come in a tin?

***What Are You Smoking, December 2023?***

Ringing in the holidays with some 2017 Christmas Cheer! Smoking it in a custom Neil Monier I commissioned for Christmas 2020. This stuff is too good, and luckily not too cold here in Utah yet. Wish there was more snow though! 🎿

    Best of the berries?

I generally lean towards the less cased aromatic blends, but still enjoy the flavors when they're done right! My favorite blends with berry notes would be Peterson's University Flake, and Sun Bear - Mountain Flower. I'm going to pop open a tin of Germain's Plum Cake this week, not sure what to...

***What Are You Smoking, October 2023?***

Started the day trying out The Beast for the first time, and I was thoroughly impressed. Followed that up with a bowl of Christmas Cheer, and now I’m smoking some Capstan Blue that I jarred up in 2020. It’s been a beautiful fall day full of fantastic pipe tobacco and I am on cloud 9
