Searching for a Custom Pipe Nail Tamper

So in a hardware store they could press the end of a nail into the shape of the scoop on the tamper?

Searching for a Custom Pipe Nail Tamper

Hello friends, I use a pipe nail tamper. It does the job and I love the simplicity. However, I find myself having to clean the ends of the small tamper or get my hands dirty. Does anyone happen to be able to, or know someone who is able to make be a pipe nail tamper that is longer than the...

    Commissioned ?

That's actually what I did just the other day! I'm getting my first Altinay custom made.

How Long Does a Bowl Last You?

Depends on which size pipe I'm smoking, and I know I'm a bit of a fast smoker. I also prefer to pack loosely for an effortless draw which also shortens the time but with all that the average is still somewhere between 20-40 minutes.

New Meer Coming: Any Big Differences?

This is a long video, perhaps you could put it on 1.5 or 2 times speed to watch it, but this has some great info on meerschaum pipes.

    Choosing an Altinay

I just wish I saw larger pipes on Altinay, they all seem small to medium for me, I like big bowls.

    Anyone Dislike Billiards?

What madman could dislike a Billiard? In my opinion it is one of the best pipe shapes.

    What Was your First Pipe?

My first pipe was a $20 K.S.I. which was a piece of junk. However, my first "real" pipe was a Chacom Jurassic 155.

    Sam Gawith Pricing??

I'm pretty sure TobaccoPipes jacked the prices up just to stop people from panic buying everything til it's out of stock. It's so frustrating seeing an entire batch of something sell out in a couple days. Like with Esoterica, I've just accepted I will never get to buy some. Most of the people...

    Who's Running TobaccoReviews.com?

I was thinking this same thing when I was checking a week or so ago. I also hate their new website format, it looks terrible and is far less functional.

How Many Tobaccos in Active Rotation?

I'm not talking about aging. Just saying if you have 10 tobaccos in canning jars, that's better than ten open tins with no seal.

How Many Tobaccos in Active Rotation?

Once you start using canning jars, you never have to worry about this and your whole collection is the rotation. But before I started using canning jars, I would try to have no more than four (maybe five) open at a time.

Smokers of Tabac Manil blends... Do You Hydrate?

I try to keep things simple. It comes dry so I leave it that way; but also it's very good just the way it is, I don't see how a little water could do anything.

Does Anyone Know a Place That Can Custom Make a Case For an Estate Meerschaum?

I'm considering buying a nice large estate Gourd Calabash, but it has no case. Is there somewhere that can make a custom case for it to fit in like all the new meers I've bought? Or does anyone have tips to protect this meer should a custom case not be feasible?
