I’d say it’s just a matter of personal preference. Which ever way you find you get more flavor and enjoyment with is the right way for you. Did you fold and stuff or rub it out? From my limited experience packing to tight can cause the pipe to not stay lit, packing to lose can make it burn to fast or sometimes not stay lit also. It smokes great, the bowls deep but a little narrow so it only takes about 1.5hrs to finish a gravity filled bowl. I can clench it for about 10-15 min then my jaw gets tired lol.- Charlie718
