    I actually have the Lane BLWB and at first I was taken aback by the earthy, in your face smell but it tastes great smoking it altho needs a lot of dry time, it's great as a mixer. I wanna try Ready Rubbed and some other Burley matches.

    The other blend I meant to mention I was comparing to was Carter Hall. PA has a bit more chemical taste but still present in both.

    Glad to hear the chemical note isn't so obvious. It's even more obvious on PA. I got a few pouches of each (I know they've been discontinued) but wanted to buy tubs of the newer Dominican version. Guess I will now, that chemical tinge is the only downfall of the blends.

    Thanks. Yeah I've smoked it and it is fine, I used some electrical tape in the mean time before I order rubber bits. I don't really have any true pipe tobacco just cigarette "pipe" tobacco for MYO, but a kind fella in the snuff community is sending me a Meerschaum Corncob Pipe and some tobacco...
