What EU Blend Would You Like to Try?

From this side of the pond it feels like a bigger issue the other way. I'm sure there's a big ' grass is greener' element to this. Its not that we cant get them its the tax and laws involved in importing them that puts most of us off. Shame because you guys have some very talented tobacco...

Tax on Tobacco in the U.K. from U.S.?

Would be interested to read a comment from yourself here once you have taken receipt on the cost and experience as I have had the same thought a number of times. The US seems to have so many great blends unavailable to us in the UK.

    Athletic Pipe Smokers

I bike ride 5 days a week and open water swim twice . Historically I gave up cigarettes 22 years ago and had a period of 15 years with no tobacco until I picked up the pipe. I have always exercised and when I picked up the pipe I was worried about the affect on my cardio vascular system. I...

A Question About Different Types of Tobaccos

I suppose our grandfathers are the same as us in that here will be regional and personal preferences in their tobacco choice and therefore our fond memories or room note will be different. My childhood was filled with English tobacco aromas, spicy and smoky, and that is the 'Grandfather' note I...

    In Search Of Pipe Dreams

Should really have asked here about this purchase before committing but I have just sourced and purchased a used copy of this book in the UK. What are peoples opinion of it as I had to spend as much on the book as I do a tin of tobacco. Hoping a worthy sacrifice.

What’s the Weirdest Place You’ve Smoked a Bowl?

My strangest was one of my best. Top of a mountain in Norway, thought I was on my own so lit my bowl and relaxed. 5 mins later a young Norwegian appeared at the top, pulled out a packed pipe asked if I minded if he joined me. Very memorable for a Scotsman who was away from home working.

End conclusion. ..just enjoy whichever pipe I'm smoking at the time and no need to restrict myself to one shape. Just go...

Pipe Shape Choice. Idea Vs Reality

When I started on the pipe smoking journey 6 months ago and even now I had a concept of how great it would be to emulate my literary hero character's hobby. I am a huge AC Doyle fan and loved the iea of looking like Sherlock Holmes pondering his latest mystery. Therfore my first two purchases...

    The New Generation.

Big fan of your show and listen every week from Scotland but need to declare I am a latakia fan, sorry. Anyway wanted to share a moment I shared last night with my son. Too often we tribalise nicotine/tobacco use ( pipe , obviously the best, / cigars / cigarettes/ Vapes). However when I went...
