At this time, I am sitting on 42 four oz jars, 6 eight oz jars and 2 open tins. For the last few years, I have rarely opened a new tin!

Do You Own a Pipe 5” or Less in Length?

I really like the family history story. If you do decide to sell some day, there is a Pipes & Accessories Sell/Trade Thread. It does have a few qualifications you have to meet, before posting. I haven't check, but you may already qualify.

Do You Own a Pipe 5” or Less in Length?

WOW! If you did that yourself, even if the briar wouldn't work with you, you did a super nice job. Are all the others made by you as well? Do you ever put any of your work up for sale?

    Clan tobacco 2010

From 2010, if they were properly sealed, you have some very well aged tobaccos. They should be delicious, even if one or two end up being baccy you don't actually like!

Do You Own a Pipe 5” or Less in Length?

That is truly a nose warmer, and it is a real beauty. Would you mind telling us what it is and maybe a photo of the top of the bowl area?

    Peterson or IM Corona

I have never used a Peterson, but I have owned 3 Corona Old Boys over the years. Sadly, I have lost 2 of them over time. The one I still have is at least 10/12 years old. I have never had any issues with any of the ones I've had. You cannot go wrong with a Corona!

Up with What are You Lighting ?

Matches on rare occasions. At home my Corona Old Boy but I don't take it out of my home. I have lost two of them over the years. When I am out, I carry a Jobon Pipe Lighter for use.

Do You Own a Pipe 5” or Less in Length?

I have a few of them. I like them for short smokes when trying a new to me tobacco. They tend to have smaller bowls and that works well for the purpose.

    DGE Custom Cobs

About 5 or 6 years ago I was gifted a DGE Custom Cob by a friend. See photos. It's a beauty and as a result I have not been able to bring myself to fire it up! Does anyone have one of the DGE Pipes? I would love to hear about your thoughts about it and how it smokes.

    Clean Pipe, Happy Life

I don't do it often, but every now and then I use to run a couple of briars through a jewelry vibration cleaner. The one I have will hold two pipes easily. Using hot water and a few drops of Dawn Soap. It really does and amazing job. One or two cycles to clean and then one or two cycles, without...

Missouri Meerschaum Bit Mix and Match

I too love Corn Cobb pipes. Back in the day I did have a lot of briars as well as Cobbs and Meerschaums. However, about 10 years ago I sold off all but 3 of my briars and 4 of my Meerschaums. I had some cash on hand as a result so, I decided to pick up a stash of Corn Cobb Pipes, extra stems and...

How Often Do You Smoke a Pipe?

Back in the day I'd get 5-10 bowls a week in, but over the last 8/10 years just a couple of bowls a week, most weeks!
