    Chemical Tongue Bite?

Yea my initial pipe journey had me going after all those yummy flavors only to find out it is not for me but others. I have yet to try any flavored or topped aromatic that tastes good…. a swisher sweet cigar beats them all. of course YMMV and TEHO, etc.. I finally figured out its the...

What Are Your Top Five Pipe Accessories?

For me its the opposite. I find the coffee makes my pipe taste good. Kinda like a coffee and dessert or PB&J, or milk and cookie. I put cream and honey in my coffee although on occasion I drink it black. I always smoke in morning so coffee is a standard. Noting that I dont usually smoke VA...

    Corn Cob Pipes Maintenance?

The key is swap. I cleaned a MM once with a salt and vodka pack overnight and the cob swelled and cracked. I probably put too much vodka or let it sit too long but now I only swab. I am just nervous to soak anymore. Noting I am very inexperienced with deep cleaning pipes.

    Chemical Tongue Bite?

That tobacco appears to be aromatic and could be majority virginia. Both can bite. I too started with aromatics which was a mistake. They are harder to smoke and can bite you due to toppings and moisture which basically turns into hot steam. I suggest trying a simple codger blend like...

I want Dock Worker and Nashville. I have to ask…. will the US product be the exact same as Europe? or are they sourcing the US supply from different tobacco sources?

    War Horse Dilemma

After more research I think I was given War Horse Bar (Red). It was a piece of crumble cake so I know it was not rub. It had also dried out a bit and that might have reduced the topping flavor as I do not recall a floral presence. Thus I will buy Red Bar first because I have learned the Green...

    War Horse Dilemma

Yea they both appear the same blend with green having a little more anise / tonquin per website. It could be either one so I guess next time I get to buy tobacco I will get both.

    War Horse Dilemma

I received a gift sample of War Horse about 2 years ago in a baggie and I may have tried it but forgot and it has sat in my cellar box. I just pulled it out and wow it was delicious, but I now do not know if it was Red or Green? I guess I will need to buy both. That said my pallet tends to...

    Don't Overlook Drying Time

Duly noted. Makes sense. Do you feel it’s more Virginia related or did i just hit a blend that was a little moist in the tin? Either way folks play around with drying time because I just discover the Virginia I am smoking got better with some drying.
