    Yup, depends on the cedar. Some are more sappy than others. I have had some that actually impregnate the cigar wrapper with oils. I like the way it blends with the smoke. The old timers used to light their cigars with cedar for the same reason, to add a touch of flavor.

    ..and rifled. A full choke with make the shot spread faster because it's already spinning away from the center of the barrel when it leaves the gun. A full choke with just about cover your torso at 15-20 yards with whatever kind of load you are shooting.

    Peterson is great because they are consistently available. Other brands you may consider that usually are in stock are Solani and Stokerbye.

    I would be interested to know what companies use more ppg than others. Some brands still stay spongy even after sitting out 24+ hours. Rattrays for example stays moist almost forever unless you put some heat to it. FVF and SJF act similarly.
