How Many Bowls Do You Smoke?

Normally it’s 4-5 a day. I work from home so it’s hard not to smoke more. But the past month with nerves and stress, more like 9 bowls a day. I find myself enjoying it a bit less though. I’m going to try and pace myself a bit more to keep the anticipation up.

ESCUDO: Do You Rub It Out or Just Stuff It?

Always rubbed it out but recently been stuffing more flakes and coins. Especially on long walks. It may take a bit more to get it going but burns slower for me.

    Smoking a Pipe at 36

I got my first pipe at 28 yrs old. But the hobby didn’t kick in until last year at 40. One thing about getting older.... each year I care less and less what other people think. It’s wonderful.

Did The Judgemental Fat Old Man In Red Underwear Leave You Good Boys A New Tabak Or Pipe?

I got a couple more tins of Cringle Flake, some gift cards towards pipe making tools. I habe uncontrollable PAD/TAD so getting me a pipe is kind of pointless. A lathe though... that would be awesome.

    First Pipe of the Day?

Pretty much as soon as I wake. Get my coffee and iPad and go out to my patio. I spend a couple hours out there watching YouTube and relaxing. Usually it’s a VaPer to start.

Feels Good, Just Got My Pipes and Tobacco Organized.

Me too. I lucked out and scored a $3-400 crate and barrel cabinet for $25! So I moved all my pipes to that and bottom holds 75 or so tins easily plus another 3 racks of pipes. I spent 2 straight days buffing and waxing most of my pipes this week. Felt great. I need another rack or two and a...

A bit over a year but by volume more like 10. Lol. Need to smoke a bit less. Down to 5 or 6 bowls a day maybe. I’ve got 90 plus pipes and more than that in tobacco. Bought equipment and restored a lot and making them. I like pipe smoking.

oh and I’m not a huge fan of pokers either. I like them but not obsessed like I’ve seen some can be. I’ve got a Savinelli 311 cherrywoodI like a lot, it’s lightweight, great for walks. but that and an old Grabow poker is all I’ve got, aside from this one. I just want to try a new shape every...

Yeah def those were stock stems. I had no clue what to do then. Hadn’t experimented with stems too much at that point. I don’t like the roundness. I’m going to redo that.

    My 4th Pipe I’ve Made ...

Sure but im a newbie. Lol. When I got into this a year ago, I bought many old pipes and practiced restoring. I’ve got about 43 or so of those. So I learned a good bit that way and on these others. I’m making a site to show my collection and sell some to make $ for a lathe. I’m working on my...
