***What Are You Smoking, September 2024?***

Waking pipe was Pegasus in a meer, followed by a breakfast of eggs and sausage. Relaxing now with a bowl of KBV Burley Morning Pipe in an IMP with the remainder of the morning coffee.

***What Are You Smoking, September 2024?***

Another long day with lots of driving, several cigars and pipes later and i'm back in the lounge for the last bowl before an early bed. At least that's the plan. ;) 2010 G&H Kendal Kentucky in a Talimona Texture freehand.

Nice Stannie...look at that shine! And a great choice for a first, btw. Good stuff. ;) As for me, it's MB Pure VA in a Stefano Santambrogio smooth bent panel.

***What Are You Smoking, September 2024?***

Back from Seattle and got 1/2 the lawn mowed. Had to stop for a bowl of curry and a smoke and then i'm back at it. Lunch done, bowl started...Penny Farthing in an H Ege deco hammer.

***What Are You Smoking, September 2024?***

Last one for me tonight. Have to get up at 5:30 to hit a meeting in Seattle by 8:30. Still messing with the shag baccy, so i figured i'd bust out some 2010 Kendal Kentucky and try a little blend with some 2024 Penny Farthing just for the heck of it. Taking a trip in the Caminetto bamboo and...

New Tekin Added To The Stable

I've only had one from Fikri, but never had a problem with the airway in this one. Perhaps your experience is more extensive, so i certainly speak from a very limited sample...which i've always loved. ;)

New Tekin Added To The Stable

Truer with some than others. I've only had internal engineering issues with a few of meers in the past. 2 of them were Yaniks, which looked amazing, but were promptly resold. No issues at all with IMP, Cinar, Fatih, Fikri Baki, even Sultan, CLB or Dulger, etc.

***What Are You Smoking, September 2024?***

Got the grill heated up. Doing some brats, bacon wrapped/cheese stuffed jales and stuffed scallop shells. Time to fire up a home blend in a Rad Davis squashed 'mater and await the cook! Won't be long...

New Tekin Added To The Stable

I wholeheartedly agree. I don't even buy full bent pipes anymore for this reason alone. I like an ez cleaning pipe, too! 👍 Not sure yet. I'll have to hold it, oogle it a little and gaze into it like a crystal ball... Also, mood at the moment might have something to do with it. :P

New Tekin Added To The Stable

I've been perusing over some meers for the last couple weeks and saw a few that i liked. Dickered on some and settled on this Tekin Lattice Pear W/ Silver Ferule for a price i'm happy to pay. 6" L x 2.2" H x 1.6" W .75" bowl diameter 1.7" bowl depth Acrylic stem Delrin fittings It's on...

What Cigar are You Smoking? 2024

Taking the dog for the morning stroll with the rest of this Partagas black jr, since she won't let me sit here and just smoke it in peace! XD

***What Are You Smoking, September 2024?***

Loaded a bowl of 2010 Kendal Kentucky last night and fell asleep, so that was bowl no.1 upon waking. This is the after-breakfast bowl no.2. Playing with shag cuts. Penny Farthing in an HS Pipe Studio bent blackened bamboo freehand.

What Cigar are You Smoking? 2024

I'd call that a great cigar day! Nice. :)

    Is it Just Bad Luck?

This is really odd to me that you've had that many burn outs with new pipes. Savinelli, Peterson and Nording are all well-made. Nordings are particularly chunky, typically. Would really have been interesting to see the evidence here. Whatever you put in em, smoke em slow and if they start...

    Opening A Tin? Show Us!

Exactly the way they show up. They are bone dry already, so i just leave them in original packaging. I don't jar it till i'm gonna put it on the smoking shelves, but even that's really just a matter of homogeny in the stash.
