Did the same with the Salty Dogs. I was almost out and had one spare plug. This one is so dense it gets cube cut for easier rubbing. Plug and a 1/4 cut and jarred up for the smoking shelves.
Had an open tin of about a 1/2 plug left of Aus Dem Krater and decided to dig the other one out of the cellar and just pre-slice everything and combine it into one for immediate use. EZPZ access style, no knife neccessary. ;)
Ran the 2022 Semois jar dry and had to head to the cellar for a replacement with some fresher stuff. Poppin the brick and a little update to the date on the jar...golden for another year or two. ;)
Darkness has ensued... Back to the light of the smoking lounge to clean out a few pipes from today's adventures and to fire up a bowl of Semois in a Mastro de Paja bent dublin while i'm at it.
Had an AF Flor Fina 8-5-8 Sungrown on the way back from Seattle today. This one had some years on it. Made a very enjoyable drive out of an otherwise dreary trek down a busy freeway on an overcast Washington afternoon. :)
Filled a big ole Radice Rind with some Doblone D'Oro this morning for the drive to Seattle. Had a nice cigar on the way back. Just caught up on some title docs on the laptop in the smoking lounge and it's time for a bowl break.
Going with some Penny Farthing in an H Ege deco hammer.
My Fatih started coloring a spot right away, too, albeit on the back side of the bowl. Also noticed it got a little hotter there. I'm with the smoke it and let it do what it's gonna do crowd.
