    TAD Acquisitions 2024

Got a couple boxes in today. Mostly just stocking up a few things, but a few new ones to try, too (Former's Cross Grain Flake, Amphora VA and Cobblestone Burley Plug).

    Opening A Tin? Show Us!

Popped a couple to-try blends from a TAD run today. Since i'm a fan of Cobblestone's Hiking, i figured i'd try the Burley Plug this round. Good stuff! And since i enjoy Former's Straight Grain Flake (and just grabbed a couple more tins of that), i figured i might as well try the Cross Grain...

    Dark Fired Kentucky

I'm not much of a lat smoker these days either, but love the DFK in blends and also ODF, especially after a steak dinner. Do it... :)

To Drink or not to Drink?

1 mug of java with the first 2-3 pipes of the day, water throughout most of the day, and sometime in the evening, single malt whisky. All go well with the right tobacco. :)

Found the Right Bulk Soft Bite Tubing

Interesting. That's the issue i have with soft bits is the bulkiness. Also would be nice to find something that would fit the narrow diameter of a clay stem. Not a fan of teeth on clay!

    Cravings

This is the case for several burley blends for me. Usually choosing a tobacco is on whimsy, but sometimes it is a specific desire for a specific blend. When it is, it's usually something like Semois, Burley Flake #1, 3 or 5, ABF or Wessex Burley Slice. Something along those lines.
