    I made the trip this morning to Cigar Chateau for the show. The whole show was inside their shop. Very small show, but they did have a lot of pipes and tobacco. Got to spend some time with Erik Stokkebye, very nice guy. They had good pricing on the pipes with 15 to 20% off an already low price...

    Yes, I meet him last week at the Texas Pipe Show. The pipe I was looking at sold by the time I went around the show. I e-mailed him last night. He is going to make me a pipe once he gets a few off the bench. Very good pricing.

    Zippo Butane Pipe Lighter Insert

    I also have a butane insert. Works good for indoor smoking. It will burn your thumb out in the wind. Mine holds a good charge and last for quit a while. Over all good lighter for indoor use.

    On November 11th in the DFW area go the the Texas Pipe Show. I have heard they have a local pipe club. You should be able to meet some people that know about you area.

    Pipe Storage.

    I have an old cabinet I took out of a house being renovated. Cleaned and painted it before hanging on the wall by my smoking chair. Have around 40 pipes in it. Peterson and Savinelli on bottom 2 rows. Meerschaum, other pipes and cobs on top row. Like to keep them in boxes and out of the sun light.

    When I get an estate pipe I will polish it out with sandpaper polish and buffer. If it’s really bad I will soak it in oxyclean.     Well I’m not going to say I learned on my own. But I did not have a mentor, needed one. Picked up a little here and there. Finally got things going my way. Started a pipe club and have been trying to help newer smokers at our local B&M.
