    I had a couple of repairs done by Mark Tinsky and I definitely do not recommend him. Actually, one of the repairs Tim West did for me was fixing a botched Mark Tinsky repair. And Tim knew it as soon as he saw the pipe, so it wasn't his first rodeo.

    Yes, you can get part of the VAT at the airport. Make sure you have the pipes with you, sometimes they ask to see the product, others not. Unless you declare them upon entry, you won't have to pay any tax in the US. Sounds like a great trip. Enjoy.

    Yes, you are right. I have several Castello pipes and some looked like they were made by another company. Not the look per se, but the drilling of shank and mouthpiece. If you buy online, make sure that you can return the pipe in case it's not up to the expected standards.
