I've got a couple of different M&M cobs I routinely smoke from. I tell you, they are some reliable smokes that is for sure. And relatively maintenance free...just load and smoke..repeat as necessary.- jaxz

Smoking Outside Time
Because I've got 10 month old twins and a non-smoking wife, the back patio has been designated my smoking lounge. So hot, cold, dry, or wet, that's what I've got. Sometime in the future (our final house) I'll have a room specifically re-modeled to accommodate my smoking habits. Till than...- jaxz

Pipe Tobacco Storage
Be careful with jars. They work extremely well, and are easy to come by for cheap. So if you have a tendency to be a pack-rat this will only amplify the problem as I'm learning. :-) Excellent article Bob!! And yes, I found my way back here. Sorry I've been gone for so long fellas.- jaxz

Outstanding article Bob! And so very true. My most expensive pipe was $125 and while the quality is superior to my $60 pipe, they both make for an enjoyable bowl of an English blend.- jaxz

What do you think is good morning, afternoon and evening blend?
I'm pretty new to pipes (1 yr). Like Kevin and Tom I was prodominately smokin' cigars and occassionally the pipes. As of late I've flopped and go with the pipe more frequently. I tend to go with English blends, stronger the better as I tend to smoke in the evening after the kids go down. BUT...- jaxz

eddiegrob, FVF is an awesome VA. You shouldn't be dissappointed. I almost jumped on the 250g. Definately jar it up; otherwise you risk it drying out before you get a chance to smoke or age it.- jaxz

All day smokes are great to have available though. Great review. I prefer heavier English blends as I tend to smoke in the evening, but if I'm able to smoke more frequently this one will be one I'll be taking a closer look at.- jaxz
