With Summer almost here in the Northern hemisphere, are you guys smoking more now that it is more comfortable outside?
Ironically, for me being in Florida it is now getting too hot to smoke outside.
It's about 9 million degrees here right now. I'm going to have to start smoking naked. LOL.

Well, I could be smoking outside with this temperature, but I don't have much free time lately and when I do get to it, it starts raining and the wind starts blowing.
It's not too hot here but the temperature is just fine.
It's around 60 and 70 degrees here which is a nice temperature esspecially when the sun shines.

I usually work outside, and I smoke as I drive. Last week I worked inside. I don't care about the temperature, the rain gets to me, and it's rained for days.

Today I smoked a pipe outside, I sat in a chair, the sun shining on my face, it was really nice!
But then suddenly.... The wind.... it started blowing and blowing it was terrible and I went inside again.

LOL!
Today I went outside to smoke a pipe. There was a beautiful view of water and sailboats and the sun was as hot as my pipe, so I only finished half of it and came back in as I was melting.
Then I went back out later and finished it. :)

I smoke my pipes inside and outside.
I suggest getting a spring loaded wind cap like this one, http://www.pipesandcigars.com/windcap.html if anyone is afraid of smoking outside when the wind is not favorable. It works quite well.

I find I smoke outside a lot more in the summer, especially in the late evenings when it is calm and cool outside. Ahhhhhhh.... I find that my pipe holds a light much better outside, must be the extra air circulation.

Because I've got 10 month old twins and a non-smoking wife, the back patio has been designated my smoking lounge. So hot, cold, dry, or wet, that's what I've got.
Sometime in the future (our final house) I'll have a room specifically re-modeled to accommodate my smoking habits. Till than, here's hoping for good weather.

I keep outdoor smoking to a minimum. Back in the late 60's I burned-out a pipe smoking it on a long walk, on a frigid, windy day.

The air temperature didn't make a bit of difference, the wind velocity did. I remember it all too well, Middleton's Cherry Blend in a

filtered Medico bulldog. Damn sweet pipe. I miss it. That won't happen to me again, regardless of the season.

I would love to smoke a pipe on the back deck in the evening.

Problem is "in the summer" it's damn hot and muggy and the cicadas will drive you INSANE!

I love to smoke outside, but living on the ocean in Nova Scotia makes that near impossible. The wind never stops here. Once in a while it is still and I can enjoy a pipe and a walk. It has taught me to pay attention to wind patterns though. At any time of day I can tell you where the least windy spots are in my neighborhood.

I smoke (almost, but don't tell the wife!) exclusively outside, but found real quick that the deck out back is a mosquito haven. I smoke like old man in the driveway now...

I also walk into the woods after in rains and pour a little insecticde into standing puddles . I like my deck after dark when it cools off , or early in the morning on weekends .Mid day it's damn hot and muggy , oh the joys of the deep south in summer ,

Around here, summer (and especially summer evenings) are the best for smoking outside. Calm, warm temps and tonight an almost-full moon rising in the southeast. It's the pleasant lull before the frigid, wet and windy winter.

I always smoke outside. Here in california, the weather is really mild all year long; perfect for outside smoking. Plus the mountain views aren't bad either! the owls give me company.
