Had a great smoke out in the Owyhees this past Sunday, at a spot called Jump Creek. It started snowing a little bit just as I pulled up around 8 in the morning. Oh man, don't remind me! The Rhodias look nice and simple. Never heard of that brand before. I used to have a leather-bound journal with hand-made paper. It was cool for the novelty, but the paper was way too thick to be practical. I went a little too "Lewis and Clark" with it, I think.- Snook

Puffing like Dirty Harry
There's definitely a happy medium to be had; not too slow and not too fast. Too slow, and I'm constantly relighting. Too fast, and the tobacco tastes like ashy garbage before I'm even 1/4 done with the bowl. I often go by temperature of the bowl. If it feels hot, I stop for a minute so it can...- Snook
