    The (Un)Official Secret Santa 2020!

Package sent and a strange package received from an unknown individual! I haven't ordered anything off the Bay recently and it's not a business name, so I'm guessing it's from Santa. Now to wait another 14 days to open it!

Peterson’s Explains The Black Bowl Coating!

I was wondering what was up with that stuff. After 1 smoke with my new Pete I wiped out the bowl with a paper towel and took the entire bottom bowl coating off. Kinda pointless for building up a cake if it wipes right out of the bowl that easily.

Am I Late to the Party?

I'll second the Gawith tobaccos, although their lakeland essence ones are not for me, the twists are something special and quite unique. Seattle Pipe Club is another amazing blending group and I have yet to buy a tobacco from them that I didn't enjoy!

    Proper Pipe Storage.

I know a guy who, for some ungodly reason, breaks up American Spirit cigarettes to mix with a bit of weed and takes bong rips of that. It's bad.

    Pipe Smoking Activities

I always have a pipe handy for reading a good book, hanging out in the hot tub, working on the bike, or when I'm working on pipe restorations. Although if I'm working on things I only use my beater pipes since I tend to clench a bit harder when problem solving mechanical issues!

Thanks man, I appreciate it! I'm looking forward to seeing who I get puffy

    The (Un)Official Secret Santa 2020!

Not sure if that 2019 date is a sleepy copypasta that should be 2020 or if @woodsroad meant the cutoff to be members from 2019 and older only. Either way, can I get a vouch here @BROBS or @Country Bladesmith ? I'd love to join in on this Christmas cheer!

Heartbreak Hotel (Title Added by Bob)

While I do feel the methods are slightly questionable I guess you can't argue with results? I get what you mean though, watching packages bounce around when a carrier screws up is nerve wracking. I had a pipe from SP.eu shipped to me and USPS tried delivering to one of my old addresses for some...

    H & H White Knight

Great review! I love this one as well, I heard it was recommended to all newer smokers and I'm glad I gave it a try despite the split in the community on latakia. The smoky and full bodied aroma makes it perfect for enjoying around a campfire with friends!

Chronicling an AliExpress Pipe and Purchase for Science

See I would say patriotism sounds great in speeches, and it might've been a great motivator in the 1920s and 1940s, but in 2020 it's just the modern evolution of tribal thinking kept alive by propaganda. That same tribal us vs. them thinking keeps us trapped in a Red Vs. Blue mentality where...

Heartbreak Hotel (Title Added by Bob)

I've had some damaged goods arrive from SP recently, I always get a nice chuckle seeing the fragile sticker bashed in on one side. Glad to hear they're taking care of it, they've always been good about making things right.

Chronicling an AliExpress Pipe and Purchase for Science

Could be from the same factory but with a different manufacturer stamp? I used to work in the vape industry and there were about 3-5 factories in Shenzhen that produced all the devices/materials for 200+ brands.

Chronicling an AliExpress Pipe and Purchase for Science

Hey I tried this experiment a few months ago with lighters! I said to myself "sure an old boy or xikar is nice, but can we find similar designs for less?" I came up with these three guys all together for under $25. Two have built in tools, which I enjoy, and one is a flint striker à la skinny...
