    Anyone recognize this stamp?

It's a shame to not know who made your pipe. There are a LOT of small time pipe makers who do get their own trademarking tool made, but they don't receive enough recognition to make it to Pipedia, Pipephil, nor to be discussed on forums. That pipe sure looks nice though.

    Linkman’s Grabow Question

I disagree with 1945 - 55. Grabows made after 1944 were not stamped with the Linkman name. Your pipe has 1930's written all over it, despite the missing information. The custom 'propeller' (which were often so custom that you'd think someone used a hatchet to cut it in) and the linkman...

    Linkman’s Grabow Question

Curious why you believe this is specifically 67 - 69? Commodore started in 1960, and went for 30 years. I will agree that it's an earlier one, because the spade appears to be the more "pearlescent" material as opposed to the pure white which followed. I'd agree with 60's.

A Question For You Ebay Sellers...

I hear you. I am not meaning to complain on this. It's just baffling how many retractions I get...and ZERO messages to me from the bidder either. Just very, very strange this year...especially as months roll on.

A Question For You Ebay Sellers...

And honestly...if my suspicion is right and eBay IS doing this...I'd rather NOT make more money just so they can. I hope I'm wrong...but with multiple retractions each and every week...something is up.

A Question For You Ebay Sellers...

The retraction reason is always "bid wrong amount". It's never cheap bids...always where the auction is at 50, 100, even 150. If I let my mind get the best of me, my suspicion is this: - Ebay sets up any number of bot / fake accounts - A bot account places a bid on an item which is doing...

A Question For You Ebay Sellers...

I've been offering pipes on eBay for 10 years. Over the course of those years, I've had a handful of eBayers "retract" a bid for different reasons. It has been a rather rare occurrence. However, this year...ever since eBay took over all payment functions, I've got bidders retracting bids...

    Threaded Metal Tenon On Dunhill

A friend owns this Dunhill, and is asking whether these metal threaded tenon stems come with a dot or not. This stem doesn’t have one. https://ibb.co/k1hCNYS https://ibb.co/m5G810w

Briarworks Muletown Pipe Show - Sept. 4-6

With other pipe shows being canceled (or in danger of), my hope is that Covid is fully (at least primarily) behind us in the near future. I'll see you at the Muletown show...hoping early September is well enough into the future to stay on the calendar.

2020 Raleigh (TAPS) Pipe Show - April 4

They momentarily considered maybe a different date, but there are a number of criteria to consider. - There are already other pipe shows going on in most states each month; if planned close to the date of another show, turnout would be affected since many of these vendors are involved in other...

    Medico Pipe Restoration

Those Medico stems are plastic. I learned the hard way some years ago.

What's Your First Pipe Purchase of the New Year?

OK...here's a question regarding your new pipe. What is the connection between Brigham (Canadian pipe company) and Nording? The nomenclature contains the exact cursive Brigham stamping of the Canadian pipe maker.
