For your enjoyment.
It was in a drawer for 100 years in London.
4 patents: 2 on the pipe, 1 on the mouthpiece, 1 on the case.
Everything pristine as new.
It makes me smile.
After getting a mortgage on the house, I smoke it rather often in the garden.

220 grams - wow!

As Auxsender mentioned, tell us more of the backstory. We don't often see Dunhill Magnums here.
Got it from an antiquary in England who didn’t like eBay. He had his own website and sold exclusively antique pipes. I asked him about the origin of the pipe and he said “I got it from a gentleman whose family had it in a drawer since the 1920-30s because no one in the family smoked pipes.”
The antiquary was retiring and trying to sell everything. But this Dunhill was his most prized possession.

What a beauty!
Love those thick walls.

I’m a little confused about how you got this.
It almost sounds like it was in a drawer in a house you purchased and you found it. Is that what happened?

Or was it one you previously owned that you now enjoy in the garden of

Well, 220 grams is just half the weight of this other pipe I have.

Great story. I have owned a few 100-yr old felt hats that lived similar unused lives.

Well, the weird part of the story is when he didn’t want to ship the pipe because it was too valuable and he was afraid it would be lost/stolen in transit. My daughter, who lives in Switzerland, travelled to London to pick it up. She made a video of the transfer meeting.

What an acquisition! A personal hand off is a the way to go for a pipe like that.

Yeah, I keep it in my keychain for good luck.
That Boer is definitely magnum. The Dunhill dimensions are the same as this Morgason and many of the others I had. A 1"x2" chamber was my bare minimum for chambers.

A good shirt pocket sized pipe but I more often preferred larger pipes.

Rarely being seated then, they were regular clenched pipes as I went about the day.
