Anyway, back then gas was about .24 cents a gallon and a pack of cigarettes was close in price. Also when Marlboro introduced cigarettes in a box……. wow….. no longer crushed smokes.

I remember when there use to be ash trays in the doctor's office waiting room.I remember when cigarette ads were on TV and in every magazine you could find. Those cigarettes could also have baseball cards or stamps you could collect and get items.
