Both are absolutely stunningI got a couple more last week. Both old ones with amber type stem.
First is a thick billiard with an ornate cap and band. I think it’s 1890s or so mainly because the style doesn’t last much into the 20th century. The applique is brass. No case.

The second is case branded J.T.S.. I have no clue what that means. Maybe it’s a monogram. But there’s other pipes out there with the same label. It’s a zulu. 1910 at a guess.

Beautiful pipe with an interesting shapeJust browsing through after creating an account. Here goes my first ever post.
First Meerschaum I bought. Definitely paid too much for this in Istanbul when I was still fresh in the Meerschaum world and knew too little. Nevertheless, it’s beautiful and smokes great, with quite a wide conical chamber.

Might be the most beautiful pipe I've ever seen. Just, wow.I just finished cleaning up another JTS brand meerschaum. The sterling band features a bear in profile. It’s engraved GDM Buffalo 1910.

Very close! Mine has no markings at all and it belonged to a friends dad who passed some time ago. I helped restore a bunch of pipes and he gave me the pick of the litter. He did have a CAO pipe in the lot too.
