This was sold for the first time in the USA in bulk and tins around six months ago. I bought ounces of this and North Star and whatever else came out.

This one is good. I think it was my favorite among the new ones and probably the only one I would buy significant quantities of.
How was North Star?

I smoked an LB sized bowl of each this afternoon to refresh the memory but I got nothing, I think because the humidity fell off a cliff here when it got cold. My taste buds should be back eventually. I even tried some very old Rum Flake for reference just in case but nothing. I thought I remembered North Star being darker but they look the same to me now?

Hope your taster gets back on track soon.
I remember that a Brown Flake varistion came with licorice topping at one point. I liked it a lot and haven't seen it in years. I'll probably try some North Star on my next order

Decided to pack my first bowl in the trusty old Kyriazanos Greek Dublin.

Pleasant smoke- I’ve always enjoyed a shag cut. They seem to do well in tall, more narrow bowls, of which I have many
Smooth, with an underlying natural sweetness. No bite yet. The flavor of the bright Virginia is typical- more hay than grass (which is a reflection of a cure-job done well). Not much “tang”, more of a rounded flavor conposition.

Just a notch below those brights is a different bag of flavors developing. I assume it’s the “oriental” varietal from Indonesia. It adds a depth to the blend that would otherwise be one dimensional.
I get flavors reminiscent of those found in good Cameroon cigar wrappers- barnyard, and a tiny hint of baking spice.

While it’s squarely NOT Lakeland in flavor, I do detect the spirit of G&H in this blend.
If you’re a fan of their shaggy Kendal blends, you’d probably find plenty to enjoy with Rodeo.

Even those who enjoy just straight Virginia’s on the bright side, or light Vapers- this one is worth checking out.

It’s not groundbreaking or earth shattering, but I honestly like it more than a lot of others in the same category.
It looks to be readily available at SPC, and probably other online retailers.

I have been smoking Rodeo the past couple of days about 5 bowls and have enjoyed the flavors. My buds aren't refined enough to identify the various tobaccos other than it taste good.

That being said even with the good smoking flavor, I find the after taste to be worth the price of admission.
