The Pete SH Hudson has just a teensy bend in the stem
Have a Hudson and thought the bend so non-existent that it seems like a straight pipe to me. I have 7 bulldogs and 4 Rhodesians, but almost never smoke 1 of the dogs as the chamber is too small. Chamber of my squat Pete donegal is also too small but like the squat shape so smoke it occasionally as I also do with my S&G made in 1900 as it's also rather small.

For whatever reason, the bent Bulldog shape always struck me as quintessentially English. I can picture a tweedy chap smoking one in an old leather chair in a historic fieldstone house with exposed beams, single pane windows, a well-worn wool oriental rug on an old wide plank hardwood floor, and so on.

I have just a few big pipes , the rest are group 3 or 4 - this is my perfect size. I get to switch tobaccos more often.
You want small?? I got small!

And for contrast, I just got this Pete Christmas '21 Squire:

I must admit I love the look of the Pete, but it's near impossible to clench, which I prefer in general.
