Boys decided they wanted to Dig a hole in the backyard. So their digging in while I smoke and supervise. Just smoked 3 consecutive bowls back to back. The first being a Savinelli Cumberland 806 packed with Rattrays Marlin Flake, then a Savinelli Tortuga 106 packed with C&D 5 o'clock shadow, and then a Brebbia Ninja Noce 1001 packed with Petersons MyMixture965. I thought I had a jar of Nightcap in my celler but I can't find it. That's what I'm really craving. But man I went on SP this morning and it's like $20 for a tin of Nightcap. Heck with that. It ain't $20 good. But I am thinking about buying some G.L Pease Quiet Nights, I've had the Chelsea Morning and it was excellent. $14 bucks. The holes looking pretty good after 3 bowls, I think will take a break for chow. Boys been working hard.

I went to my local B&M and about choked when they wanted $30.00 for a single tin of EMP. I like to support local economy but that’s larceny!

WCC Bostonian Rhapsody in a Vauen Patina. I was not liking this blend at first, the initial burst of Molto Dolce vibes was a let down because I’m not really an aromatic fan lately, but in a few minutes that topping burns off and fades into the background and more of the plummy Perique and darkly tart Virginia stood out. This is not overly sweet or a goopy aromatic by any stretch of the imagination. Three bowls in, I would currently call myself a fan.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2024 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Fed Molly Danger. Sleepy Suzy is eating now. Going to check on Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato the Brave after she finishes. M'lady fed Harry the Hairy who is snoozin' on her chair. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Have a nice early afternoon gig today at someone's birthday party so on the way I smoked some GLP Cumberland in my trusty Savinelli Trevi Prince. It was one of those smokes that even though I wasn't completely focused on the smoke I feel like this pipe was made for this tobacco. Good thing after this tin I've got two more aging.

Did a set of walking reps on this beautiful day, and am not far from finishing this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in a slight bent black pattern etched 1977 Lorenzo Lorsan Sigma level top billiard with a gray swirl acrylic saddle stem. Fed the ferals. Tomato the Brave is snoozin' on the couch. Harry the Hairy is snoozin' on m'lady's chair. Daisy the Feral Princess stayed outside.
