I had a can I used to just reseal for several years with no problem. I finally just jarred it so I wouldn't have to find something to pry the top off each time.Any thoughts about the Peter paint can opening it and sealing it back into the paint can?
Never thought of doing that. Thanks for the idea!I only have a four-year sample of PH cans, but I weighed them to the third decimal in grams, and last time I checked in January, there has been no change in weight.
So far, so good
Just opened two cans of it today.I had a can I used to just reseal for several years with no problem. I finally just jarred it so I wouldn't have to find something to pry the top off each time.
That’s actually one of my favorite jokes, and was told often in my tenure as a bartender in Arizona in the eighties and nineties.Sir there are things that simply can not be “learned”. They must be absorbed by experiential immersion. It’s a four year internship. I’ll have my Director of Irreverence and Incontinence reach out to you.
In the meantime;
A penguin has some car trouble...
A vacationing penguin is driving his car through Arizona when he notices that the oil pressure light is on. He gets out to look and sees oil dripping out of the motor. He drives to the nearest town and stops at the first gas station.
After dropping the car off, the penguin goes for a walk around town. He sees an ice-cream shop and, being a penguin in Arizona, decides that something cold would really hit the spot. He gets a big dish of ice cream and sits down to eat. Having no hands he makes a real mess trying to eat with his flippers. After finishing his ice cream, he goes back to the gas station and asks the mechanic if he's found the problem. The mechanic looks up and says "It looks like you blew a seal."
"No no," the penguin replies, "it's just ice cream."
Isn’t that abit like returning a new car to the dealership because it won’t wash dishes?I did a test seal on a can.
Took an undamaged can and jarred the tobacco.
I poured water into the paint can, sealed it, turned it upside down.
After about 10 mins I could see water coming out of the can. Not sure this constitutes enough concern about long term storage in these tins though.
