Funny, I was just making to ask you about La Aurora 100s. Are you endorsing the current production?Yesterday I decided to go for a side-by-side Corojo comparison, so I smoke a La Aurora Cien Años robusto on the way home and then an Aladino Corojo lancero after dinner. While similar, the La Aurora was just so danged good! I love it when Corojo tobacco has faint notes of bubblegum. For a night capper, I smoked a LFD Ligero Oscuro, but my palate was trashed from the 2 previous cigars plus a bit of the whiskey.
This morning, Tatuaje Reserva SW Short. Fantastic blend - very dessert-like.

Okay, just okay.
Intense and distinct buckwheat honey from the wrapper, pre- light, very nice. Did not show itself in the smoke
My local store has a decent humidor and the center island is all Aladino for good reason IMO.View attachment 408247

Big notes of succulent cedar on the stick, and the palate which also pours off the side stream just smelling GREAT. Dandelion tea, Apple butter, pecan praline, biscuit, coffee and Meyer lemon. Lot of notes and quite complex, very lovely and floral and dare I say cubanesque as can possibly be.
