Always been underwhelmed with them too. I’d much rather have an rsg Magnum r44 or 858 rsg those are my goto Fuentes, unless I have some aged Anejos.
Had to bust out the Anejo No.55 maduro torp for Fuente Friday...
I absolutely LOVE the 55, it's a shame they're so hard to find, I'd be VERY tempted to buy a box and just eat ramen for the next month!

Yesterday I decided to go for a side-by-side Corojo comparison, so I smoke a La Aurora Cien Años robusto on the way home and then an Aladino Corojo lancero after dinner. While similar, the La Aurora was just so danged good! I love it when Corojo tobacco has faint notes of bubblegum. For a night capper, I smoked a LFD Ligero Oscuro, but my palate was trashed from the 2 previous cigars plus a bit of the whiskey.
This morning, Tatuaje Reserva SW Short. Fantastic blend - very dessert-like.
