I'm sorry, but it's simply not good enough...

An anonymous commenter on the Internet told me GH&Co. was a bunch of nasty people making crappy stuff, and now a voice who claims to be the "director of the company" answers questions for an extended period demonstrating that's not only not the case, but quite the opposite.

Riiiiiiiiiiight...

What kind of a sucker do you take me for?

Unless and until someone finds a way to animate the tobacco itself and interviews IT on live television, my mind will not be changed, OK?

I'm smoking some new edition Ennerdale bulk and I kinda think the sauce is back and its heavily sauced to boot.
As opposed to before when? I ask because my batch (bulk) is about 2-3 years old now. It’s the only batch I have had beside a tin of it around the same date.

I have found current iterations to be waining in the sauce dept but this is very much like days of yore, 10+ years I'd say. I don't know it the saucing dept slipped with the watering can or what but its very much like the old stuff.

I just smoked some. Seemed good to me, but I am intrigued about this new back to the status quo sauce.
The current batch I have seems good. But I’d pick bosun plug over Ennerdale. From all the reviews and feedback could point to my batch being watered down in the sauce as you say. Or could just be I like bosun plug more.
Don’t suppose there was a date on this new batch ya got?

No but it's fresh for sure. The sauce is so strong that I can smell it as soon as I walk into the smoking room and Its been sitting in a ziplock for 10 days now. Its my daily smoke atm its that yummy.

Yeah. That was mine when it was fresh in a bag. You knew it when you walked into the room.

This Just In! Ennerdale has too much Sauce.... Millions now seek the new older batch to smoke tobacco not soaked in ghostly sauce that smells like soap. LOL. Smokers now in uproar that GH is overly sauced. GH continues to maintain nothing is different. The Telegraph reports on page 5 that GH has rehired drunken Bob. Stay Tuned.

Their tobacco are done with cheap leaves bought in Poland ( heavy duty taxes) and yes I found all their tobacco changing since a while, not really strong at all in vitamin N. I bought recently from many batches at GQ tobacco ( very good retailer) the seller told me many others complain about the same regarding GH tobaccos

LOL where do you get your info!
Most of our leaf comes from Brazil, India, Malawi to name a few places.
Yes we bought a small amount of Polish (EU) leaf to put in certain blends as this means it is not subject to massive EU tariffs as long as the blend contains a small % of EU leaf. But this is only certain blends that allow for it.
Nicotine occurs naturally in the leaf, therefore it will change from crop to crop.
I very much doubt GQ tobaccos have had all these huge amounts of complaints or they would be feeding that back to us.
So if you (and all these other complainers) main gripe is that we use cheap Polish leaf then this is simply fiction. And if its that the nicotine levels are now lower, then that is down to....... well......the plant, the soil, the climate.........take your pick!

I wouldn't ask, they might send a pic of where they pulled it from. And I doubt their hygiene is existent.

I wonder what scam certain one comment posters are trying to run. At least they didn't claim the secret sauce is the blood of innocent snuff taking grandmas.

No, wrong album… funny though.

Twists (Three different ones), Ennerdale on the wing.
Pardon me sir but, respectfully, both of those songs are in The Song Remains The Same movie and on the 2007 version of the soundtrack. I believe that’s what you were referencing with your graphic on the previous page.

Hm.

Someone joins the board months ago and never posts until today.

And when he finally does, the post is two sloppy declarative sentences about what goes on behind closed doors at a private manufacturing company in England. (?!)

Time for a wild-ass guess, here...

It's a guy who lives in Kendal who knew Rachel in grade school, fell in love with her in high school, then refused to stop asking her out until one day she stiff-armed him in the Adam's apple to get the message across that she was NOT interested.

And his fee fees never recovered.

Naturally, his Mission in Life ever since has been to follow her around and annoy her every way he can think of.
