Really? I would pay more NOT TO have a chamber coating!
Me too!

While they do look good with a coating a bare pipe gets dark soon enough. Most of the time I remove most of the coating. If its really an expensive pipe I will leave it and deal with the off taste it has for the first couple of smokes. Usually, if I put a stronger and darker blend in the pipe it covers the taste.

I always remove the coating.
I don't usually buy coated pipes, but it happens.
I want my tobacco and wood to be one, it makes me feel better.

Yes, it gives me the feels......and I don't feel much.....so removing the coating is a great thing.

GOOD LOOKS GOES BUT A GOOD COOK STAYS, I GARRONTE!

My mother had an older sister, who in 1940 looked like Kim Kardashian without the giant butt. She married a blond haired blue eyed guy who looked like Charles Atlas, I called my Uncle Ben, who was a cook for the headquarters of General Patton’s Third Army as it raced across France.

Thirty five years later Aunt Mildred’s looks had faded, her figure was long gone, and she never was a good cook.

Uncle Ben did all the cooking and he’d brag to me Aunt Mildred in 1940 looked like a diamond up a goat’s ass around Preston and he had to about whip several boys a day for ogling her, and she’d just smile, so sweetly, at Uncle Ben.
