Just finished smoking year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a 1970s three quarter bend half smooth, half sandblasted Savinelli Autograph 4 military mount with a pearl brown acrylic ferrule and saddle stem. Fed the ferals except for the snoozin' Abner the Eager. Tomato the Brave wasn't finicky when I fed him. I took wet food leftovers from three plates and put them side by side on one plate so he could decide what to eat. He ate everything. The funny thing to me was that each time he finished eating one kind of wet food, he turned his head to the left, and sniffed at the dry food like he was going to eat it instead of the next kind on the plate. He didn't. He turned his head back to the plate, and ate the next wet food every time. After he finished, Tomato came up to me, rubbed against my leg, chirped some approval, and wanted out.

After some expert instruction from @PaulRVA Im drying my Makhuway out longer. I laid it out last night. So far I like it better. It seems to have smoothed out a little of the twang I often find in the blend. I will have to try it in my other burley blends.

Im smoking it in a Ser Jacopo

I do a minimum of 4 to 6 hours before jarring. I have to watch not to overly dry it out. Haunted Bookshop and OJK also.

8-10 year old soccer match this morning. Dark rain clouds moving in fast. 8 year old grandson assures me the rain will hold off long enough to get the match played. He says the radar says so. He’s suited up and ready to roll at 6 am, even though his match starts at 10 am. That’s what optimism looks like! Meanwhile, Pop Pop enjoying his morning coffee, burley, cob. And, I love Face Time!

Up a little earlier than usual today so I decided to mosey into the garage and look through my ready-to-smoke bin for something I haven't had in awhile. So, first up on the menu was a bowl of GH&Co Brown Twist loaded in my rusticated Savinelli Roma 106 and paired with an espresso.

Next up was a bowl of HH Bold Kentucky loaded in my Bent Hunter Falcon equipped with a Genoa bowl and paired with a drip coffee.

Hope everyone has a great Saturday!

1000001639.jpg Smoking some Haunted Bookshop in the Lorenzetti Augustus Caesar 03 Billiard. Drinking some Hot Dunkin Donuts Original black coffee. Bout to fill up the little pool for the kids. Wife went to go get some steaks for me to grill. Probably sit out here all day and load bowl after bowl. Weathers Perfect, Life is Good and God is Great!
