Cool, I'm gonna try it on my dogs anyways. They are filthy!I'll keep this in mind.
Not tested on animals????? Geeze, what'll think of next![]()
But that said place makes the only worthwhile pipe tobacco left in the world. That stuff is made where they chase cheese down steep hills, drive on the wrong side of the road, and think carnival merry-go-rounds make good traffic intersections... Not sure I'd want it on my pipes.

Toothpaste won't remove oxidation but it will polish a stem to a mirror shine.toothpaste
Flitz?? The stuff I use to clean guns? Isn’t that a pretty harsh chemical to use on a pipe ?Yes! This is really great stuff for vulcanite pipe stems. It's much more abrasive than flitz or any toothpaste. It's vegetable based and has no harmful chemicals. I found it's the perfect choice for cleaning the airway on an old vulcanite pipe stem. Put some on a churchwarden pipe cleaner, clamp it in a vise, hold the other end with pliers, slide the stem back and forth. It rinses off easily too. I highly recommend this stuff.

Not at all. Many here use it.Isn’t that a pretty harsh chemical to use on a pipe ?
Thumb buffing with plain white toothpaste will return the shine.Mr clean magic eraser works good if you don’t care about the shine.
I was kind of hoping it had been…or at least convictsI'll keep this in mind.

Never would have thought to use flitz….Not at all. Many here use it.
Thumb buffing with plain white toothpaste will return the shine.
But, what if it's a pipe "Made in England" George? Surely you can empathize ....That stuff is made where they chase cheese down steep hills, drive on the wrong side of the road, and think carnival merry-go-rounds make good traffic intersections... Not sure I'd want it on my pipes.

Hey, I got my Edible Plants merit badge in Boy Scouts by cooking, and eating stinging nettles, and no, it doesn't taste like chicken. Wasn't fun to prepare thoughThat's entirely different. Tobacco too. Even matches.
But everything else? Hell, they even eat stinging nettles for fun ---

Lemon juice or white vinegar works really well. Whitening toothpaste can clean them too.Like I said, The Pink Stuff is really great for cleaning the AIRWAY of the stem.
