I’ve found them to be great smokers so hopefully you’ll fall in love.They're considered big for some folks preferences but I really like the chamber dimensions and Author shape. I just finished cutting and storing my Sweated from Muletown, but I couldn’t resist keeping one extra flake out, smoked in a Mastro de Paja.

@starrynight Welcome to the Brotherhood of the Clay!Pure Virginia in my first clay, some random smaller pipe from smoking pipes for 8 bucks.
I’m hoping there’s a break in time for new clays as this leaving a chalky effect on the tongue… but, this is the best taste I’ve been able to get out of hh pure Virginia, which is hard because it’s already one of my favorites!

Edit: bowl doesn’t seem hot… but it’s acting as a nice hand warmer.
