This unfinished Stanwell Authentic 15 is another pipe I don't smoke often, for no good reason. It's unfinished, which are great to watch develop a patina over time, it has a large bowl with a hand feel similar to that of a Peterson B52, which I also love. And it's a great smoker. So you'd think it was one I'd reach for more often. I suppose it just tends to get lost in the mix, which I suppose happens when you have more than 50 pipes. Not boasting, but I'm sure most of you with multiple pipes can relate. This was originally going to be a flake pipe because it handles fold and stuff remarkably, but since it does well with just about anything, I'm currently enjoying some Old Toby. 1000000660.jpg

I'm enjoying the tin. Prior to this I smoked a tin of Chenet's Cake and Kajun Kake. Have a tin of Bayou Morning Flake open now as well. I think I put the Red Carpet ahead of Bayou Morning as RC has a bit more red Va note to it. Chenet's and Kajun seem to me to have significantly more perique which I like.
Thank you. I have some in my cart for the next buying spree.

I'll second and add to @Bbailey324 comments.

I love Kajun and find it dark and powerful. Bayou Morning is almost there but also sweeter. Red Carpet has a nice slightly sour woodiness to it that appeals to me in the same way Pegasus does. @Ted Vig brought some to club last week and I could easily see myself stocking up. It is an easy-smoking Va-Per that is clearly C&D. I guess there was some debate about it containing Orientals but someone quoted Jeremy Reeves saying there was none so I believe that

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, orange roughy and sugar snap peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm half way through this bowl of year 2014 FVF in a straight smooth brown year 1923 Dunhill A billiard 60 patent March 9.15 with a tapered black vulcanite stem. This pipe is from the estate of David Cuneo. All of David's pipes that I've cleaned so far are ghost free! I have four more in various stages of cleaning. Taking a break from that, and a couple of household chores that I did after dinner to watch a little TV. Abner the Eager showed up an hour ago, didn't eat that much, got some attention, and wanted back out. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.
