I couldn’t agree more that bowls with tiny chamber diameters are more limiting with what can be enjoyably smoked in them. In my experience, diameter matters more than depth, as depth really just changes the length of the smoke. When I smoke my pipes with narrow diameters, I have to make sure my tobacco is fully rubbed out into tiny pieces, regardless of the cut.

I think I prefer normal diameters (.75-.85) with a shallow depth as I find them less limiting. This Tekin I’m smoking is a great example of just that sort of pipe. Pegasus in the pipe by the way puffy
