Some Wessex Gold VA Flake that I stoved last spring at 190F for 4 hours. The smell in the kitchen then was unbelievable and the smell coming from that open jar now is absolutely outstanding. Could be the best tin note in my whole cellar (220+ blends and counting). Happy New Year!

I really want to like Rouxgaroux more but it seems no matter the pack, dry-time, or cadence I get bit.

It will nip me a bit, too, if given the chance. I'm starting to suspect that any red Virginia will. I love it too much to give it up, though. I've decided to treat it like spicy Indian food -- small bites (sips), have lots of water on hand, and be willing to take breaks.
