Was there a sale initially going on the site and/or did you have a VIP account status change during this time?
Try to name something that hasn't gone up in price lately !!! 
Nope. No sale and yes I have a VIP account with SP, but no change, as far as I'm aware. One doesn't get "demoted", do they?

Just took another look, to see if I was making a mistook.
The price of the pipe shown, from my account login, shows the initial price that "joe public" would pay, without my VIP membership status, so yeah, it's increased, from what I witnessed previously.

I would have thought SP was above a "due to Covid" price increase.

This is good for me i plan on thinking about 30 pipes from the herd.
I'm finding more and more that I don't need any additional pipes. Don't see anything that interests me. But things are definitely getting expensive and hard to find. We've been out of canned clams around here for awhile.
You actually do get demoted if a certain yearly threshold isn’t met. I have definitely noticed a price increase in certain estate pipes.
The last week or so, the price shown on the thumbnail of a pipe is lower than when I click on it.

Saying that. I haven't been demoted anyway.
I was just about to e-mail them about it and took some screen caps. The prices match today (but, are higher than what was displaying on the thumbnails earlier in the week).
I noticed this too. I thought I wasn’t logged in but when you click into a specific pipe then I saw my discount applied. Maybe a bug was introduced to the site recently.
That potential bug aside, I have noticed that Peterson pipes at least have gone up a decent amount in the past couple years. The Aran line has gone up around $25 since late 2019.
I have seen a significant price increase in both new pipes and estates. I think the bigger increases are in the estate market.
I have a feeling the big increase in estates is because of the European market being open and spending more than they should. I could be totally wrong but it is my theory. If someone wants to debunk it, have at it.
I also think there are big increases in new pipes as well. I think those are limited to certain carvers and in my opinion their prices are a joke.
When I culled 60 odd pipes through great estates on ebay, I was very surprised at how high some of them went. for. I am not complaining one bit.
