Too many to choose among!

I could i.d. those pipes that get posted a huge amount.

Please put your location in your Profile, as people are forgetful.
Why: It will save time for others as to where you live when you mention local stores, weather, tobacco prices, availability, regulations, location of photos, wildfires, air quality, etc. In many instances that saves time for those who read your posts, and for you in not having to reply to inquiries. .
How:
Under your avatar, (top right, left most of three symbols) you choose "Account Details", which brings up "My Account". "My Location" is halfway down. Whatever you're comfortable with- town, city, county, state. province, etc.

Not to be evasive, but from day to day or even hour to hour my answer would vary. I suspect the same is true for many on the forum. Having said that here are a very few candidates off the top of my head: Jesse’s 1872 Barling magnum; cshibhra’s 1990 Sixten Ivarsson; and guylesss’s 1925 Dunhill Shell pocket magnum.

But of course as John says there have been many extraordinary pipes posted here over the years.

That sure is a beauty, I'd agree. Design, blast, finish. Over the years, there have been so many amazing pipes, in every dimension, at every price range, from hundreds of pipe makers. Even some pipes that don't catch my fancy are altogether worth seeing.

Agree with the above that couldn't name one particular pipe, but I will say the first thing that came to mind was the custom Alaska themed set commissioned by @alaskanpiper ... those were something quite special.

Another would be the Dall Ram custom meer commissioned by @BarrelProof

Far too subjective to answer.

We’re a pretty big community with differing tastes. So you’re never going to get any meaningful consensus

I buy pipes that appeal to me. Others may look at them and consider them boring or downright ugly.

if someone posts a pipe they think is beautiful I sure as hell won’t tell them it looks like shit ?

Hard to choose but for me there is something special about the way the old British pipes were shaped and sandblasted. I'm a sucker for a beautiful blast and this place has educated me on what a nice sandblast can truly achieve.

Jesse @sablebrush has a blast volcano that is probably my favorite. Ted @tfdickso has a fantastic collection. Ken @tnfan has a Weaver blast I love and an overall great collection including a number of fantastic Castello Hawkbills. Craig @PipeLoverInPA has some fantastic Cooke, Rubio, Larrysson and Howell pipes. Obviously, @shanez has a collection to die for. Many others as well but those come to mind.

Mark, you have a pretty nice collection yourself. I'd add your name to that list. ?
