Yeah, I thought of that one...but I couldn't remember what the alleged "value" was supposed to be. Totally absurd.
But then I'd be very surprised if either of the 6 figure meers in this thread actually sell for such a price...absurd as well.
If it's never been sold they can value it all they want, but that is not it's true value.

The Eiffel Tower sux. If they had made a pipe with the Brandenburger Tor I **might** be willing to work extra hours to save enough to get it.
So if you take it apart the materials are worth a fair bit due to rarity, but I stand by my original comment. If nobody actually paid $3.5M for it, that is not it's value.
