Yes it has a nice selection. Cali prices but I was ready for that.Looks like a really good place with a decent selection of tobaccos.
Is that the one in old town? They have some great stuff.Yes it has a nice selection. Cali prices but I was ready for that.
Nice! Haven’t been there since about 2010. Great place.Yes. It is Old Town. Been there a few times.
It sure is and yes they do.Is that the one in old town? They have some great stuff.
No idea on the name or if they have other locations. SD is definitely a cool city. Will be going back soon as it’s only an hour and a half away for me.What about the name? Do they have shops in Wisconsin and Wyoming? It looks like a terrific browse. I think it would take me two hours just for a visit. If I was buying something, who knows? I went to Navy boot camp and three "service schools" in San Diego and liked the city a lot. I went there later on business. The waterfront is good too, with the refurbished Star of India square rigger and other vessels as a ship museum.
Are they keeping cigars outside of a humidor?Made a quick stop while I was out there this past Sunday. Lots of old pipes in their little Museum. Cool little shop that you should visit if you're ever in SoCal.

The good cigars are in a semi enclosed room. They are in good condition surprisingly. The house and flavored cigars are by the counter. Are they keeping cigars outside of a humidor?
or is that room a humidor?
Cool little shop for sure. Plenty of good restaurants around there too.Oh rad! I always thought that place was in Wisconsin or something because of the name. I'll have to stop by next time I'm in San Diego (don't need much of an excuse to head down).
Not too long of a drive. Make a day of it and pick up some good tobacco and dinner. That's a beautiful store. Makes me want to drive down there just to visit and pick up a few things. We used to have a few stores like that in LA, but they're all long gone now.
Yes indeed! It was the ambiance, and aroma, that I truly liked. All of the old wood, and brick, made the shop have a really authentic feel. No glaring lights, carpet, and cold chrome and glass to ruin the feel of the place. It felt as if I were stepping back 100+ years.

A lot of times shops will have certain cigars out of the humidor and on a counter if they're looking to promote them or call attention to them for some reason. Depending on the environmental rH outside of the 'dor, cigars will do fine for a while outside of the 'dor. They're pretty resilient, and I think it takes a fairly long time of being exposed to dryer than ideal conditions for them to suffer irreversible damage. Most of the time, those boxes on the counter will get put back into the humidor at night. One would hope, anyway.Looks like they’ve got tat skinny monsters just sitting on a counter
