Today was not a good day! I somehow lost taste in the evening (now back). This cigar tasted very good, but not great. I will have to retry this cigar soon. Also, minor construction issues.
MF Le Bijou 1922. I bid and lost on a tenner of the torpedoes, but then realized I had not had one in a while and should grab a single from the b&m to make sure they still satisfy before chasing them too hard. 
It's well worth trying again. For whatever reasons, I have found it to be a cigar that seems to reveal its pleasures over multiple smokes. I remember liking my first, but not really understanding why. After smoking more and more of them, though, I found my palate really opening up to all its flavors.
Black Works Studio Killer Bee this morning and a Matilda Renacer Corona this afternoon.
I have one more in the humidor... that’s a good news ?
...my man. Just tried one of the Boondock Saints late afternoon; good flavor but heck of a tight construction. The Black Label series more my jam, but enjoy most everything out of Oveja Negra.
It seems like their various lines are hit or miss. I haven't liked the Boondocks, the Nocturnes, or the NBK. Absolutely love the Killer Bee line, Bishops Blend, and Morphine. I have yet to try Emilios.
That sucks! My Father cigars really benefit from a good rest imo. The first one I tried was just OK, but after 6 months in the humidor it really delivered.
Like @danimalia said, My Father takes a while to grow on some people. I hope you're second one is more pleasurable.
This one was good, it just did not keep up with the hype. I will try the next one after some additional rest

Don't know if they still make it, but the Rabito de Cochino was my favorite when I smoked NC LGC. The display-type box was a little silly, so I would empty it and put the cigs in a humidor.
Oliva Serie V Melanio. This is an exquisite cigar. One of my favorites. I won a box ? of the sister smoke (Serie V Melanio Maduro) in an auction recently, and I think I would enjoy the Maduro as well! It may very well be my #1 favorite smoke - Replacing Padron 1926 who is holding the current title.
