I used to do construction when I was younger. There were always some older guys on sites that were missing a digit or two.All the great instructors of shop safety are missing digits. ?
only criticism I could level is maybe that power tools are somewhat dangerous. Seriously if you cut off a finger they make you teach shop class to high school students, you know as long as you're aware of what can happen.
Indeed, the shank, the bowl is pretty smooth but the shank has gouges from the file that would take a lot of material to sand and make even that it'd look uneven in the end.Not bad. I think you can still make it better with more sanding. ?
You could always rusticate it.Indeed, the shank, the bowl is pretty smooth but the shank has gouges from the file that would take a lot of material to sand and make even that it'd look uneven in the end.
What kind of file are you using? I have a hobby block too and have only chipped away at it with a knife, but I’m realizing I need to do more than just use a knife. I have no tools or anything, though, so I’m thinking a file is the way to go.
