For some time now, I've been passively eyeballing meerschaum pipes.

I picked up a cheap one 2 years ago but have been wanting something a little nicer and more classic in shape.

Finally, this one grabbed my eye tonight and I obliged.

It met all of my requirements: new, not figural, light, affordable and with a push tenon.

That's a beautiful shape, I love how Rhodesians look with a lattice.

I have a new tomato lattice, and it's been changing the game for me, I hope you enjoy it.

P.S. The lattice on top always catches flakes and bits of tobacco and can be a pain in the ass!

A flexible dental pick that come on the flossers works well to get them out or a blast of air from air hose.

I usually put my finger over the chamber and blow.
No its for the tiny bits of tobacco that get stuck in the lattice that wont just fall, blow or tamp out. I clean my pipes alot on the bathroom counter and a dental flosser was just setting there so I used the pick end and it worked wonderfully. Just flicked them tiny bastards right out.

Pretty pipe! I smoke my small apple Tekin pretty much exclusively, 4-5 times a day for the past 3 months. The stem is mostly black/brown but the bowl hasn't colored much off of medium creamy. Mostly VaPer and VaBur flakes. The smoke is superior, but keeping my hands clean is kind of a PITA. No ghosts at all.

Nice modern meerschaum. Who made it?
I was confused by the listing as it said Tekin in the title then “Ali” in the body of the text. I thought they were 2 different people?

I was wondering myself.

I'm assuming that, because the pipe is signed Tekin, that this is the deal.

I've seen may auction text errors due to rushed "cut and paste" sloppiness.

I like the shape, regardless, and am indifferent to the carver.

Go you have a "before" and "after" pic of the coloring progress, by chance?

I am going to have the first smoke in the next 24 hours.

Any recommendations for the inaugural smoke?
