Ever look back on a pipe you bought and thought "What the hell was I thinking? That pipe is just fugly."
Let's see photos of your ugliest pipes. I love ardors, but I don't know what I was thinking when I bought the one below. I think this was about the 3rd or 4th pipe I ever bought, so I chock it up to me not knowing what the hell I was doing.

Wait guys - you can't say you have an ugly pipe without posting a pic of the thing.
Indeed Peck, I clicked on this link wide-eyed, hoping to see some of the pipe world's "what were they thinking" pipes.

I can honestly say I have never bought a pipe that I thought was ugly. I also have only bought pretty much traditional shapes with only a couple of free hands that were nice looking. Now I do have a few that I consider to be kind of boring and nothing special looking. For example, here are two lane Era Charatans that I bought last June.

peck, that may be one of the ugliest pipes I have ever seen. I cannot believe you are the same guy buying those incredibly great looking pipes you are buying now. Were you tripping when you bought that thing?

I've never smoked it - it was kind of a package deal for two ardors - the other one I still like.
Oh Geez, why try to rationalize. I'm so ashamed.
I guess that's why I now have 130 pipes. I'm trying to make up for that one day, that one moment, where sanity left me for other pastures. It was described as an Eagle's talon holding the pipe bowl - that sounded cool.

Well, over the years there were one or two, but when I came to my senses, they were quickly sold for no reserve on eBay. Think I got 10% of what I paid for them. I'm a lot more careful now.

It would be a toss up between the Tracy Mincer Squat Fat Pot Doodler Diplomat (almost as fugly as it's name!) The other being the Micoli, both smoke rather well though.

This little basket pipe was my 3rd pipe I bought, it smokes pretty well, but I think it's ugly as sin.

I'm going with my Tracy Mincer Doodler Pipe. These two images are before and after restoring this pipe. It's just as ugly as before! I will have to say it really smokes great!

That looks a bit like the Porsche (yeah the car) pipes that Porche thought they needed to produce to complete the ridiculous collection of "Porsche Enthusiast" products they offer.

Ugly? ALL my pipes are beautiful, and so are all the ones pictured above (especially that new take on the "bulldog" pipe, Bradley!)
