So we all have them, films that regardless of how many times we've seen them, we just have to sit down and watch when channel surfing reveals them on TV/Cable.
My "can't pass up" films are:
-The Quiet Man - John Wayne

-The Princess Bride

-My Cousin Vinny
I'm sure I have a few more, I just can't think of them at the moment.
What are some of yours?

Foothills of the Chugach Range, AK
To Hell and Back Too infrequently shown.

The Legend Bagger Vance

The Third Man

Open Range
I have DVDs of most of my favorites, so can watch as I want. For some reason I've never gotten around to buying the above. The Quiet Man gets watched every Saint Patrick's Day. The "cavalry trilogy" every couple of years. And, Donovan's Reef each Christmas. I do love the Duke.

The Sound Of Music (head held in shame)
Most of us, I assume, have our favorites on DVD or Digital, but for some reason I stop to watch these when flipping channels, commercials and all. It's so weird since the commercials could be gone if watched on DVD.

The Lower Forty of Hill Country
In Harm's Way starring John Wayne and Kirk Douglas.

The Flight of the Phoenix starring Jimmy Stewart.

Dances With Wolves, The Untouchables, Open Range, and the Hatfields and McCoys starring Kevin Costner.

2001: A Space Odyssey starring no one you've ever heard of, but a sterling film none the less.

Rear Window starring Jimmy Stewart and Grace Kelly.

Too many to list but I will just mention my -probably- most watched one: The Labyrinth. I must have watched it more than 50 times since my first back in 1989.
I don't have channels in my TV, it's just for DVDs and gaming but there are upwards of 30 movies that I watch every year. :-P

Thank you sir! Now go buy that bulldog!
I was between The Labyrinth and The Usual Suspects but my choice was made based on the PG rating. :P

Yep, Support Your Local Sheriff is just a great guilty pleasure movie with quite a few well known actors/actresses; always makes me chuckle when I watch it.
