Too many films that freeze the channel surf to count.
I'll stop and watch any film directed by Stanley Kubrick.
I'll stop and watch nearly any film scored by Bernard Herrmann.
I'll stop and watch any film with Ray Harryhausen's stop-motion effects.
About a week or so ago, I just happened to find It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World playing on the MGM channel. Crisp colorful replay, only one commercial break ... I couldn't stop watching. :D

Sadly, I'm more apt to watch a favorite, familiar movie than a new movie or show. Perhaps I'm just getting older, value my time and don't want to chance experiencing a bad movie. I'd be hard pressed to turn down most of the aforementioned movies.

Arguments are down the hall!
When I saw Field of Dreams I realized that I forgot Bull Durham!
Pretty good list, for a start, Jesse!

Office Space
The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly
Shawshank Redemption
There are others .. and these aren't necessarily my favorite movies persay ... but I can't pass up an opportunity to watch any of them.
Especially Shawshank Redemption. Anytime it comes on TV I find myself sitting through the whole thing whether I had something to do or not ... such a great movie.

Lot's of good ones on the list. A few more from me:
Saving Private Ryan

A Few Good Men
Another nod for Band of Brothers. There's usually a marathon on Memorial Day weekend with that series.
