Have tried a number of times and failed! I go to change avatar and select a jpg photo from my picture library. The site's subprogram wants me to crop and save it, and presents a grid. I click on the grid and the buttons refuse to move the grid. Then the grid snaps to one side (varies) and freezes. Would appreciate some insight!

Click on your user name under your current avatar in this posting. Then click on "edit this information". Then click on the "Avatar" link on the very upper right hand corner. Hope that helps.

This works for the forums, but the regular site... not so much. I spoke with Kevin regarding this issue on the site (not the forum) and he tells me that the avatar upload for the site is "buggy" Even with his suggestions I could not get the photo uploaded as I would like.
Lawrence - I'll check out the Tricks and Tipis. Thanks

I have had the same problem and have tried your advice.I can't get my avatar upright. I'm using an android tablet and phone. Maybe I'll try Windows.
