I am wondering if you gents know about this pipe style? For some reason I like the looks. I can not seem to find much about them from Mr. Google. Have any of you guys owned one or know of a company that makes an affordable one? I like the drain plug thing. It seems like a smart designe and looks unique. They look like some of those old world German pipes.

Old style, in early 1900 was in use to leave from shank the water of condenses from the stopper on back.Nice look but probably not so comfortable as modern pipes

If I remember correctly, TB had Ascorti do a Cavalier for them for an anniversary pipe years ago. I think they're pretty cool!

I've come close to winning a couple of cavaliers off of e-Bay. It's a shape I'd like to add to the herd for sure.

The one at Invicta is a good looking example buster, pause for an enabling moment.... Go for it!
Cool factoid Mason, I'd not heard that before.

That is what I hear about them and just wonder why are there not more companies making them? I saw one on a blog that was being cleaned up that was an estate pipe. The author said cavalier pipes are all about cool clean smoke. Well sign me up! I'll have to keep my eyes open on ebay for one since the $200 + is a bit out of my price range at the moment.
Philip what kind of boat do you have? I am guessing it is not just for fun? Are you a fisherman?

Our new sponsor has an interesting looking pipe along this style. It's way out of my range.

No, just a boat bum. It's a Westsail '32. I posted a couple of pictures on another thread:[Home Sweet Home].

Yes I saw that pipe today also. It is out of my range as well. I'll keep looking for estates on E-Bay and such.
Nice boat! Have you taken any long tours on it? My father sailed from NY down threw the Panama Canal and all the way to Guam when he was 17. I have always loved sail boats but have not had one since my Hobi cat when I was a lot younger. I just have a little Livingston to fish for bass now in local lakes now. Just read a book about a couple who take off for a year on a sail boat. Enjoyable read if you are interested.
